Pressure sensitive liners and induction seals
Mar 13th, 2009 | By Mark Plantier | Category: Did You Know? Many companies compare the economic and packaging benefits of pressure sensitive liners and induction seals. Pressure sensitive liners are less expensive, but they do not provide any of the benefits that induction seals provide.
Pressure sensitive liners do not provide tamper evidence, can not be used with liquid products and have no moisture or oxygen barrier properties.
Recently cap manufacturs have been advising companies to forego pressure sensitive liners in lieu of induction seals.
SaltWorks replaced pressure sensitive liners with an induction seal to ensure oxygen scavengers and desiccants are locked in with an airtight seal.
